Friday is everyone's sweetheart. He was much loved by his family, but as can happen with these wonderful creatures in captivity, especially if they are parent deprived, they can self-abuse. Friday is doing well now and is very happily destroying his aviary.
Echo

She does now! Thank you Ruth and Mac x
Echo is a wonderful girl with the sweetest singing voice. Her rendition of DAYO had me in tears. As you can see above a happy healthy girl now.
Stanley
still has no sponsor - he does now!
Stanley is a very happy boy tonight because he has a sponsor family now. He wants to say thank you to Becky and Cathy for their kindness and support.

Stanley is truly my hero, at the age of three months his wings were cut. Sadly his wing was damaged beyond repair. He lived for the next 15 yrs plucking. The lady who rescued Stanley worked so very hard to heal his torment but eventually Stanley came to live at the sanctuary. Stanley is now well on his way to feeling better about himself. He is still Mr obnoxious but who can blame him?
Marlon
still has no sponsor
**NEWSFLASH**
Marlon wants everyone to know that he has a sponsor from Canada. He is very pleased to now be part of the Posner family. Thank you very much for your kindness.
What can I say about Marlon? He is truly my sexpot. Full of fun and loving, he makes me laugh every single day. Marlon is suffering from liver damage. This is probably due to being fed sunflower seeds. This is not the fault of his previous owner as they loved him so very much. The problem is that when you walk into a pet shop and look for parrot mix you will find bags of dusty sunflower seeds. Marlon will not recover most of his feathers as the folicals are too far gone. His personality more than makes up for his lack of feathers. A wonderful bird.
Ozzy
Ozzy is a stunning bird. Sadly he came in to the sanctuary because of biting and screaming. He was very aggressive and could not be kept with other birds when he first came in. Now I am glad to say that he is fully feathered and no longer screams. He has the occasional naughty behaviour but this is slowly improving.
Jacky
still has no sponsor
It is difficult to see how well she has done as her face is always in her food tray but she is a star.
Jacky is a super bird. She came to us from a wonderful loving home but sadly had turned quite vicious and would chomp through her owners arms on a regular basis. When Jacky first arrived she was suffering from Vitimin A deficiency. Her skin was peeling. This is difficult to see when a bird will try and bite through your skin so her owner could not have known. Jacky just looked as though she was going through a bad molt. Jacky is a sweet natured bird now. She has grown all of her feathers back and is interacting with the flock very well.
Angel

Angel is probably the nicest natured bird I have ever came across. She is almost 23 years of age. A truly wonderful girl.
STOP PRESS!
Thanks to Monica in Canada, Angel now has a wonderful sponsor family!
Thank you very much x
